Haiti.

Today I have found myself scouring through report after report of the earthquake in Haiti. Each picture I found or news story I read, I found reports of mass devastation. One story that really tug at me was the story of a school in Port-au-Prince which collapsed. It was believed to have between 200 to 700 people inside. The school that once stood so tall is now nothing but a mound of rubble and wreckage. The collapse killed at least 50 people, a 120 people injured, and leaving an unknown number of people trapped underneath the rubble. I have tried to place myself in the shoes of those stuck with pinholes of light, mothers and fathers searching frantically for their children, and those people who have lost everything. In this time we should reflect on what we have and what blessings that we have around us. We must keep Haiti in our thoughts and prayers as many try to help and as the struggling country must rebuild itself.
